About Glopid-R
GloPID-R brings together funders investing in research related to new or re-emerging infectious diseases. Our aim is to increase preparedness and speed up the research response to outbreaks with pandemic potential.
Working Groups
Our working groups focus on topics of current interest for the research funding community. Based on careful analysis, they develop solutions and suggest actions to support funders in effective policy and practice in key areas of relevance to pandemic preparedness and readiness.
Coordinated Funding
Through the GRIPP funding mechanism, GloPID-R members can work together to strengthen existing research investments and direct funding into new research activities to address shared priorities.
Outbreak Responses
When an infectious disease outbreak occurs, our international network brings together research funders to facilitate a coordinated, rapid research response.
